Transitional Kindergarten
Must be 5 years old by December 1st.
This is a NEW program at LAP.
Add On Lunch Bunch: Students will stay after their morning class for a 2 hour extension of their day. They will bring their lunch from home and enjoy having lunchtime with friends from other classes. The theme of the week will continue with more art activities, songs, stories, academic games, outside time and green room time. Lunch bunch allows your child to get used to a longer day and they will also love staying and having lunch with their friends.
Three-Year-Old Classes
Must be 3 years old by August 1st
Child must be potty-trained.

Transitional Kindergarten

This is a NEW program at LAP
This class is for children who have late spring or summer birthdays or just miss the cutoff for kindergarten and could use another year of preschool. This class would better prepare students for kindergarten that just need a little more time to develop the skills they gained in kinder prep. Their day will still involve teacher directed activities and free play opportunities, but will also include a more focused literacy and math curriculum to challenge their learning and meet their academic needs.
